Hi everyone! I’m writing this post to let you know I’m having a bit of a blogging hiatus. You can expect to see me back around June 19th or so. See you around!
My aim for this break…
My aim for my break is to both end the school year and start my summer strong.
I have a few writing projects I’ve neglected for the sake of the blog, and I’m excited to use my extra time to work on them. These include my novel-in-progress, All These Voices Not My Own. And I’m also hoping to maybe put together a fun study booklet thingy??
This “booklet” was originally supposed to be a blog post, then it became a blog series, but I wanted it to be more interactive than blog series usually end up being. My vision for it is a combination of devotional writing and graphic design and lots of color. And maybe (emphasis on MAYBE) I would publish it, because a large part of the point of it being a devotional is that there would be notecards to cut out and spaces to write notes in. So it would be kind of nice for it to be a physical booklet rather than an e-book. We’ll see if I finish it first!
These would probably not be during my blogging break, but I’m also thinking of writing a script for a short film, drafting an illustrated children’s book, and doing a couple art courses this summer. Plus there’s all the college and scholarship research I have to do as I get closer to turning 17. So yeah, I’m a little bit ambitious.
Where you can keep up…
ANOTHER thing I want to do during my so-called break is work on my social media presence. (I still accidentally post the same thing to my Instagram story twice sometimes. ?)And although I don’t love social media, it will probably be a good skill to have one day.
So even though I won’t be blogging, you still have a few options for keeping up with me! And I’ll try to engage a bit too. =)

By the way…
As promised, I have a link to that blog post I mentioned The Rebelution was reposting.
The blog post was called “What If God’s Not Real?” and I wrote it over a year ago. If you’ve already read it, kudos to you for sticking with me so long, and feel free to check it out just out of curiosity to see what image they put with it. That’s probably the main reason I check the site when my articles are published. ;P
But first here’s a sneak peek! To be honest, this might be one of my favorite intros out of any of my articles.
I’ve struggled with it. You’ve struggled with it. We all have. Does God really exist? Billions of people think that the Bible is false, and Christians are sometimes tempted to believe them. Jesus can start to look like a fairytale at times because of how bad the world around us is.
“Is God real?” This question isn’t bad in itself, but we need to make sure we come to the right conclusion. We need to fight the lies in our hearts with truth.
Of course, the only truth that we can stand on is the Bible. But today I am going to give you a tool you can even use if you are doubting the Bible itself.
We’re going to step into the dark side.

What do you think?
How is your May so far? What are your plans for the summer? Are you an over-achiever?
Enjoy your break and don’t get stressed over what doesn’t get done. That’s a very ambitious list! I think I’m about a decade behind now with the illustrations I want to make. 😉 Aside from helping my parents move, this summer I want to stain my new bed (supposed to happen last year but it took them 4 months to ship with Covid disruptions) and edit more of my stories. I have around 60 stories including my novellas. 14 down, 11 in progress, and plenty left to go!
Will do! =)
Those are great goals, and I hope they go well! That’s a lot of stories. =D Have a wonderful summer!
You certainly have a busy summer ahead. I hope you get to enjoy the summer too.
I wish you well on the writing front.
Thank you! I hope you have a lovely summer too!
