Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Eliana Duran, and I’m super excited to write and see where it goes.
As a child, I once convinced myself I had found a Narnian door. It was an adventure that had me wandering off and getting lost in my dad’s workplace. This sense of wonder in stories stuck with me and inspired me to enter a marketing career in Christian publishing.
A few things you should know about me: I’m a Jesus-following, story-obsessed homeschool graduate and Purdue alumnus (Class of 2026). I have twelve younger siblings at the time I write this. I love the color purple, digital art, studying the Bible, and the feeling of words pouring out of my head then presenting themselves on paper. I learned a lot about writing through the Young Writer’s Workshop, and highly recommend the program to other young writers.
About my blog: Eliana the Writer ~ Living Out Faith to the Fullest in a Large Family. I started it to help me consistently practice and grow in writing, with the additional hope that every writer has—to encourage and inspire with my words. It was February 2019 when I wrote my first blog post and launched Eliana the Writer through Blogger. I now use WordPress.org, but it is still all about living out faith as I follow Jesus right where I am.
