“Hi, I’m Booker–Booker Bunny. Some of you may know that Eliana is working on Booker Bunny and the 99 Captives, and, well, I happen to be the protagonist. My author told me I should introduce myself to all you people. But I’m not very good at that, so I think I’ll just hand you this list she gave me if you don’t mind. It looks mostly accurate. I’m not sure if I was supposed to read it though.”
#1: Booker has a bad history of losing his families. First, he was abandoned by his biological mother, and then he was “released” by the humans who raised him. (He is still kind of sore about those humans…) Booker does find a new–and very different–family, but his past makes him very anxious about his future.
#2: Booker lives in a place called the Old Library. Technically, it is the “Prairie Animal Shelter”, but the resident capuchin monkey and ten rabbits never call it that. The members of the O.L. think of it as their home, sweet home where they can be regularly without having to worry about being adopted.
#3: Booker LOVES to read. At the O.L., he meets a monkey called the Captain, who has a very interesting story. When Booker hears the Captain’s story, it sparks a deep passion for story in him. He even wants his own! Then the Captain teaches him how to read, and Booker loves it.
#4: Booker has two enemies. One he meets right away, and one who sneaks up on him later. From the day he joined the O.L., Booker knew that Konnor would be trouble. Suspicious, snarky, outspoken, and plainly mean, Konnor is not a nice bunny. Animosity is kindled between them immediately. However, what Booker does not know is that he has a bigger enemy to worry about. Somewhere out there is a little girl who thinks she needs a lot of lucky rabbits’ feet to win her hopscotch tournament.

Eliana, your book sounds so cool! The fact I found the most intriguing was the mention of the little girl who wants bunny feet. Makes me wonder what’s going to happen to Booker!
