Update on Our Writing Conference Fundraiser

Hi everyone! I want to write you all a quick update about the fundraiser Emily and I have been doing and how that’s going!

In case you missed it, here is the video where we announced our big plans to travel across the country and attend a writing conference (and here’s a post in more detail).

Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who has donated so far! Your generosity amazes us and we are incredibly grateful for your support in this quest. ?

As I write this, our trip has been 25% funded! Including donations outside of our GoFundMe page, we have raised $1,025 out of our $4,000 goal.

We plan to sign up for Realm Makers tomorrow to take advantage of the Early Bird registration savings, and this money will be more than enough to cover registration for both of us. ???

However, there are still plane tickets and lodging and transportation costs to think about! If you haven’t donated yet, we would dearly appreciate your support. The conference will be July 21-23, which is in less than five months!
